  23. Since NewTek themselves posted some new features, I'll keep on answering ;-)

  25. MetaNURBS is really great to work with.  Especially when you have the 
  26. color, shaded, OpenGL preview running ;-)

  28. Basically MetaNurbs is like an advanced version of Metaform, except 
  29. instead of moving points around and then metaforming a crude shape, it 
  30. takes your crude shape, metanurbs it and the crude object remains ghosted 
  31. over the new smooth version.  The points then become control points - you 
  32. can do some incredible organic modeling this way!  It is totally 
  33. interactive - you drag control points and it pulls the surface out just 
  34. like a pile of clay.

  36. Another neat features (that I haven't tried) is that aparently ALL of 
  37. modelers functions can be applied to an object while it is in MetaNURB mode.

  42. BTW.  I really wouldn't be suprised if NewTek actually hit their ship 
  43. date on this one.  THE NEWTEK OF OLD IS BACK!
